During the afternoon rum tasting event, he was yelling on the amplifier so loudly (even though all the participants were less than 25 feet from him) that it finally drove us out of our unit for the rest of the afternoon. Although our unit had a lovely view overlooking the pool area and water (which we honestly did appreciate), the noise - an MC on an amplifier - during afternoon activities around the pool (bingo, etc.) made sitting on our balcony very unpleasant or impossible. Now the cons: It took us a long time to check in (on a Saturday afternoon after traveling for 16 hours), but we understand that it's something that happens. We ate at the poolside bar twice (great burgers!) and had one breakfast at the cafe next to the bar (good food also).
The grounds were lovely, and our unit was immaculate. A slightly older resort but nicely updated and very well kept. Definitely pros and cons! First the pros: Great location mid-way between town and Palm Beach.
